My photography days have recently been based on planned visits to particular sites however on route to Anglesey Abbey I came across the radio telescopes of the Mullard Observatory on a delightfully sunny afternoon. Sometimes the unexpected can be as fulfilling as the planned however you should ensure you have the right gear available to transfer what you see to a satisfactory image (on this occasion I did!).
